Athlete & Team Partnerships
We began connecting with athletes very early on in the process of building this foundation. Initially some local sports teams reached out to us and asked if they could put the phrase “Time to Compete” on their jerseys or warmups. We agreed and quickly this type of request expanded to colleges across the country. These teams realized that the phrase could have meaning within their own objectives, while supporting a mission geared toward helping people of a similar age, in another type of battle. Competing both in life and in athletics was an important part of who Gibson was.
Ways to Connect
We have several ways in which teams and athletes can support Time to Complete. We can customize gear with your teams’ logo and our branding on basically any type of product. For teams, we try and keep the cost low in exchange for social and traditional media. For more information on collaborating please email info@timetocompete.org.
- Several teams have requested shirts for fundraisers to be sold at specific events.
- A final way for athletes to help is to simply join our team. We want to build a community of support around young cancer patients, and it starts with simply signing up and telling your story.
